Beschreibung der Reiseroute
A varied hike with highlight views to the giant swells of the Southern Ocean and wild coastline of the Shipwreck Coast. Some beach walking required and two knee-deep rivers to cross in the Parker and Johanna rivers at time of writing. Crossed Wreck Beach 1 hour before high tide and needed to keep to rocks to stay dry, could imagine with higher tides that section be impassable, however there is an inland "high" route to bypass. Camped at Blanket Bay and Ryan's Den, and filled up at all 7 campsites' reliable water tanks. Navigationally very easy with ample signage. Car shuffle, VLine bus on Mon, Wed and Fri, or private Shuttle required if thru-hiking it. Only east to west hiking permitted and must book campsites, Ryan's Den full upon arrival despite having booking - very frustrating.

Thanks for sharing Nastucha! Did you carry all your food? or there are ways to get something in the walk? (going through some towns or something?
Hi Roman, yes I carried all my food as there are not really towns on the way. There are plenty of road access points though that you could drop a food package ahead of time. They would need to be sealed from wildlife and hidden somewhere you could find them again of course.
