Itinerary description
The Fockenstein and Geierstein Trails are two beautiful, forest trails, which are connected to each other by a short beautiful single trail ascent. The trails have many roots and rock passages and some loose boulders. The summit of the Fockensteins is beautiful and offers a great view in all directions. Just after the summit at 22,3km altitide 1455m turn to the left into the field direction forest. We lost the trail there for a little bit and went to far ahead! As soon when you enter the forest a steep forest trail begins with lots of swichbacks and steep step downs.
