Itinerary description

The trek starts off as fairly easily, but gets tougher at the massive rockfall known as red wall. You have two options to cross the wall. Either stick to the right side and clamber over the boulders. Or take the route to the left sticking to the cliff-face and bypassing the boulders. Cliff-face path is marked by arrows and should be the preferred route. Also please take back your trash. If you can carry a full 1.5lt water battle going up, taking the empty waterbottle back should not be an issue.

Is there a way to reach the extended wall without walking in the balcony? Like going through the boulders instead?

Hi Danielle, yes you can. Just stick to the right side of the wadi, while walking up towards the big red wall and then clamour over the boulders to cross it. Again stay on the boulders on the right side, as the ones towards the left are massive and in most cases impassable. Hope this helps.
