Itinerary description
Short scramble from Rum Jungle to the top of the West Peak of Barney. Should emphasise this is a way of doing it, definitely not the usual/ trusty/ recommended way. There appeared to be some walking tracks around the far side.. but a direct rock scramble straight up the peak looked more fun. Actually a really good scramble, but definitely turned low key sketchy & steep towards the end, rock also a bit loose/ prone to breaking away after last year's fires. Really stunning 360° views.
Also recording looks like it went a bit bizarre at the summit, tracks fine until then though.
