Itinerary description
A great Circuit if you like steep long climbs. This route is rewarding and the perfect challenge if you think you're a cyclist but have never done a mountain. I give it a "Hard" in technical dificulty based on the steep climbs and descents which require a lot of pacing and good control of the bike. If you don't go all the way up to the top of Divis but carry on just around, it might lower to "Moderate".
Directions:
very easy to follow with google maps. The connection Ballyhill rd - Budore rd - Divis rd is not that clearly signposted (just remember those three names well if you don't have gps)
Can be done in either direction with about similar satisfaction
Other:
It is a lot colder on the top of Divis that down in Belfast!
