Steps of the Camino Inglés:
1. Ferrol (arriving and visiting)
2. Ferrol - Pontedeume
3. Pontedeume - Betanzos
4. A Coruña (visiting)
5. Betanzos - Bruma
6. Bruma - Sigüeiro
7. Sigüeiro - Santiago de Compostela
In this step, we will walk from Pontedeume to Betanzos.
It is a very nice path, although it starts with a very hard "climbing" to the peak of the mountain.
So, if you look at the 22km distance you will say: "That's easy!". Well. It isn't. It is hard!
It is hard because you have an initial though uphill just while leaving Pontedeume. Then, you find some easy ways along forest paths. Very nice and peaceful. But this way from Pontedeume and Betanzos can be resumed like this: "You go up, you go down". Up, down, up, down. Not many flat terrain. Or "UP" or "DOWN". Uff... At the end this can be very exhausting.
It is a nice path and silent one. You don't find many spots where you can buy things, so be aware and bring water and food. Specially if it sunday, all supermarkets (rare) you can find are closed!
Just see the blog about this Camino Inglés and contact me if you have doubts.
