Routebeschrijving
Parking in la Gouille - if there is no place in the village, you may find something a few hundred meters up the road in the direction of Arolla. In any case - gotta be there early. At the entry to the village on the North side you'll find signs pointing to Lac Bleu - follow past the chalets and you'll find a trail beaten by the skiers. Keep following until you get to the Lac Bleu. From there the ski tracks will split, broadly speaking left in the direction of les Ignes and right and up in the direction of les Crosâyes. Stay to the right - if you find yourself going up, you're on the right trail. From there all you gotta do is follow the ski tracks. At les Crosâyes at the altitude of about 2800m the tracks will split again. One will continue pushing up towards Pointe des Darbonires while you will need to fork left, around a couple of humps. Look out for the third hump hosting a sculpture of Bart Cochez - you'll know when you see it. Get up to it and you'll see la cabane. Return roughly speaking by following the same path.
Tip: as you are going up try to memorize some milestones for the descent - the ascending ski tracks won't be as clearly visible as they were in the morning - you don't want to blindly follow the descending tracks.
