Itinerary description
The route passes by some interesting sights (a couple of monasteries, 2 or 3 pagodas -one of them called Mya Thein Tan), the bridge in Myaing Thauk village) as well as by the Red Mountain State vineyards and winery. There's also some natural pool where locals were taking a plunge, but unfortunately I forgot to mark the exact point with a waypoint (it's right next to the track, where it's on an unpaved surface and before hitting the winery -coming from the south). Thus, bear in mind that the route comprises also unpaved roads, among agricultural fields, which allows sightings of locals farming. The paths are sometimes rocky and there's some risk of puncture, although we completed it on ordinary city bikes hired from our hotel without any trouble. Apart from the very steep slope to reach the winery, the rest is all pretty much flat, but for one of 2 mild ones.
