Easy sneakers trail (no flip flops) with kinda nice views of gorges on both sides of the Mesa, then a bit of view of the cliffs and ocean at the trail's end. If it hasn't been wet, at the end of the trail, there are lots of goat paths along the cliffs that lead to some mo'betta views. But a slip will be your last. Go on a windy or cold day. The flies are horrible due to the cow, goat, and horse manure.
Go to the end of 28th October, park in the restaurant parking area and follow the dirt road west.
Check out other ways to get to the Cape with better sea views.
Tried this today in late afternoon. Very nice viewpoints of endless blue. However we lost the trail somewhere in the middle near the carob tree photo. We were not sure how you could continue from that point onwards and the only plausible way seemed a bit dangerous to continue with. Other than that it was great up to the point we have reached. Thanks for the trail!
